About Us

Who We Are

Laurentum Consulting is a leading enterprise performance management consulting firm. We provide CFOs packaged solutions to help implement strategic priorities and optimize financial processes, through software integration, using SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, and other technologies. We support our clients in project, quality and continually look for opportunities to improve their processes, methods, and technologies.

Our client base includes global market leaders from the following industries: Banking, finance, Logistic, oil & gas and retail.

Having understood some of the common challenges from the CFO’s office, we believe focus on these transition items will help improve broader company performance and this includes, focus on reduction of financial costs, provision of better business insights with improved reporting and analytics, improved risk management and compliance within the office of the CFO.

Where We Add Value

Our practice is organised around two areas where we have built deep, defensible expertise: the Office of FP&A and the Office of the CFO.

The Office of FP&A

We help FP&A teams move beyond reactive, spreadsheet-bound budgeting into a forward-looking, AI-enabled planning function. Using advanced algorithms embedded directly within the EPM platform, we equip planners and analysts to answer the questions that genuinely shape business performance — not just report on what has already happened.

Typical FP&A capabilities we design and deliver include:

        Driver-based and zero-based budgeting frameworks

Rolling forecasts with scenario and sensitivity analysis

AI-assisted forecasting and predictive analytics for revenue, cost and volume drivers

Workforce, capex and operational expenditure planning

Integrated long-range strategic planning aligned to operational reality

The Office of the CFO

For CFOs and group finance functions, we deliver platforms that bring clarity to complexity. We are particularly experienced in environments where ownership structures, jurisdictions and reporting requirements do not lend themselves to simple consolidation.

Capabilities we deliver in the Office of the CFO include:

End-to-end visibility of operational and strategic budgets within a single platform

        Group consolidations, including IFRS-compliant multi-currency, multi-entity reporting

Reporting across complex ownership structures, joint ventures, partial holdings and intercompany eliminations

Statutory, management and segmental reporting from a single trusted data source

Faster, more confident month-end and year-end close cycles

Partner With Us

Whether you are scoping your first EPM implementation, replacing a platform that is no longer serving you, or looking to extend an existing investment into new areas of the business, Laurentum Consulting can help. We would welcome the opportunity to understand your environment and explore where we can add the most value.

What We Do

We design, build and deploy EPM platforms that bring together strategic planning, financial close, operational forecasting, and management reporting in a single connected environment. Our work spans the full implementation lifecycle — from solution architecture and data modelling, through configuration and integration, to user enablement and post go-live optimisation.

We are platform partners and implementation specialists across three of the leading EPM technologies in the market today:

OneStream — a unified platform for financial close, consolidation, planning, and reporting, ideally suited to complex group structures.

Anaplan — a connected planning platform that enables business-wide modelling for finance, supply chain, workforce, and operational planning.

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) — a planning, analytics and reporting solution that integrates seamlessly with the broader SAP ecosystem.

Choosing the right platform is itself part of the value we deliver. We are vendor-aware but client-led — our recommendation is always grounded in the client’s data landscape, organisational maturity, and the business questions they are trying to answer.

Specialist Capability: Mining

Mining is one of the most operationally complex industries in the world, and it is where Laurentum has developed some of its deepest expertise. We work with major mining houses to translate the realities of orebody, plant and processing into financial models that executives can actually trust and act on.

We help mining clients answer questions such as:

Which shafts, sections or pits are genuinely profitable, and under what commodity-price assumptions?

What does the Life of Mine plan look like in financial terms — and how sensitive is it to grade, recovery, throughput and cost movements?

How do we build operational budgets that incorporate mining production schedules, fleet, labour and consumables in an integrated way?

How do we forecast and report across the full mineral value chain — from extraction through concentrating, smelting and refining — for both base and precious metals?

By embedding production drivers directly into the planning model, we give mining executives the visibility they need across the entire process flow, not just the financial line items at the end of it.

Why Laurentum

Clients choose Laurentum because we combine three things that are rarely found together: deep finance domain knowledge, hands-on technical mastery of leading EPM platforms, and genuine industry experience — particularly in mining and complex multi-entity groups.

Specialist focus. EPM is not a side practice for us; it is our entire business.

Senior delivery teams. Our consultants bring both the financial fluency to engage credibly with CFOs and FP&A leaders and the technical depth to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Industry-aware solutions. We understand the operational realities our clients face — especially in mining — and we build models that reflect them.

AI-enabled by design. Where it adds genuine value, we embed AI and advanced analytics into planning and forecasting rather than bolting them on as an afterthought.

Outcomes, not just deployments. We measure success by the decisions our platforms enable, not the modules we switch on.

The pace and rhythm of performance management need to be in line with the pace and rhythm of the business.
